handmade details

I came across these photos on Martha Stewart Weddings. First of all, I adore the bride for wearing a tea-length dress. Then I love this couple for the lovely, personal details they included in their big day. Everything looks handmade with love - homemade pom-poms tied to the car, handknit wraps for her bridesmaids, the wreaths for the flower girls and the cake made with her mom's chocolate cake recipe. My favorite weddings are always like this. Nothing pretentious just thoughtful (inexpensive!) details that say something about the couple.
